At university I studied under nutritionist and medical herbalist Dr Ann Walker, which marked the launch of my journey into the relationship between nutrition and female hormone balance. For my clinical research module I helped set up and complete a pilot clinical study into the effects of vitamin B6 and magnesium supplementation on women suffering from PMS. The success of the pilot led to a complete-scale clinical trial which was published in the Journal of Women s Health & Gender Based Medicine, 2000.
