Dylan has been great at keeping me motivated, and explaining the reasons behind what we're doing, as well as encouraging different exercise and nutrition tips. Every session, I'm welcomed in as part of the team, and I actively enjoy my workouts. I love the location as well, I start my sessions on the rower looking out over the water at all the birds flying by. Such a great way to start the day!

The gym is lovely and open plan with lovely views.

I would highly recommend giving them a go. It takes the boredom out of training and you will have a really good laugh .

read moreWould highly recommend Portside for anyone looking for a PT. I train with Phoebe who is fantastic to work with, although all the trainers are lovely and really friendly. In the last 9 months, I have changed shape, become stronger, grown in confidence and grown to love working out. They are professional, extremely knowledgeable and as it's a PT studio, it's fairly quiet, with only a few clients there at the same time so you feel at ease working out. If you're thinking of trying PT, I would definitely recommend giving Portside a go!

read moreCaroline and I have been members of Tribe for years now and felt that this was a good way of maintaining fitness and weight levels. When the opportunity arose to try having a Personal Trainer we were both cautious and apprehensive about how this would suit us, 2 retirees in their 60s, and what benefits we might notice.

With Luis as our PT instructor we were never in any doubt that changes in fitness, muscle tone, weight and general wellbeing were to be expected. His patience in explaining the philosophy behind the programme and his constant attention to detail in amending or replacing exercises with ones more suited to our aches and pains were admirable and commendable.

Throughout the 12 week programme he encouraged us to try new things and to take on board changes to our lifestyle. At the end we could both certainly see the benefits of the training with better muscle tone, weight loss and increase in energy levels and it was most surprising to see that replacing the occasional Tribe session with one of the 3 targeted training sessions that Luis had developed for us makes can actually help with our overall wellbeing.

I think that working with such senior gym members was as challenging for Luis as it was for us and we all came away with a sense of achievement. Well done Luis.

Wonderful place
Such a helpful and wonderful place to train. The best place to go for good advice for losing weight and working on your body and health. I would not go anywhere else. The trainers are cheerful and always listen to what you need.
