Planting Trees:
At Gold Bear Removals we care about our carbon footprint. So for every move we do over 250, we try and offset ours by planting a tree in our customers name.
Trees naturally absorb and remove harmful CO2 emissions from the atmosphere, which helps to cleanse and purify the air. They are natures most effective tool in helping to cool down our planet. And they also provide a sustainable habitat for animals. Like bears.
Our current planting site is the beautiful Ringshall Grange in Suffolk, on listed land that is protected by the Woodland Trust.
So you can move house knowing that youve done your bit for the environment at the same time.
Recycled Boxes:
Brighton is a green kind of place. Its one of the most sustainable cities in the UK, and has a a lot of green credentials too from the first Green MP to loads of award winning green spaces and sustainable businesses. Its even the worlds first designated One Planet City.
At Gold Bear, we take sustainability seriously too. As well as offsetting our carbon footprint by planting a tree for each move, we try not to be directly responsible for the destruction of trees to make moving boxes either
Which is why most of our boxes are recycled or pre-loved, if you will. We hunt high and low to provide our customers with reliable and sturdy boxes that dont cost the earth and are friendly on the environment.

We are often available at short notice to take care of any waste you have to get rid of. We only operate in an ethical manner, and have the appropriate licenses in order to perform all clearance tasks. We dispose of your rubbish in the most environmentally sound ways. Some items can be recycled, such as unwanted furniture, clothes, kitchenware & bedding. If your items are obsolete or broken, we will break them down and separate them into different groups so that they can be recycled properly.
