Our companyhas been working in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas for over 14 years. The company initially started out
offering painting and decorating
services to both residential and commercial clients but over the
years has expanded to now provide the complete interior refurbishment
package. One of our core areas today is kitchenand bathroom
fitting where we have strong links in the industry. We have accounts
with all the national kitchen and bathroom distributors meaning we can supply
almost any kitchen or bathroom you desire, from budget to bespoke and at
prices that are hard to beat.

building service which you will notice from the very start. We believe our
pricing is the most comprehensive of any building company in the south
east, every item is listed down to the finest detail showing what the
works will entail, the branded materials used and the cost of each item.
So you have all the information available to make an informed choice,

Although we provide all the normal services you'd expect from us such as
plastering, plumbing, electrical, carpentry & tiling to name
just a few, we also offer specialist services should your project require
something just that little bit... well... SPECIAL! We are experienced
professional paper hangers, hanging wall coverings such as grass cloth
and silks, we also have a number of national & local artists onboard
should you like your art a bit more permanent in the form of wall art
(please check out our murals section). Or
maybe you'd like some hand crafted bespoke bedroom furniture installed,
or an integrated home entertainment system... the choice is yours.
Whatever your requirements, whatever your budget or taste, we will see your project through from concept to design to

Robert instilled confidence from the outset of our initial meeting. The manner in which he meticulously undertook creating his estimate was refreshing, as were the questions he raised, some of which we had not even thought of.
Once a decision had been made to appoint Colour Republic, Rob returned to remeasure and double-check his initial workings. Wall coverings and paints were then ordered and work set about to transform our apartment.
Some of the wall coverings were exceptionally hard to deal with and difficult to hang due to their makeup, but they proved to be an absolute perfectionists in obtaining the finished look. This is a rare quality to find in tradesmen.
Due to the size of the apartment, the entire job lasted a number of weeks. Throughout this period the apartment was vacant in order to allow the work to progress as quickly as possible. During our progress visits, we found the manner in which Robert and his team worked to be extremely organised and exceptionally tidy.
Colour Republic's work is competitively priced and always completed to a consistently high standard, even going the extra mile to ensure we were completely happy with the finished job. They have been a pleasure to work with and we would definitely work with them again.
It goes without saying that we would have no hesitation in recommending Colour Republic to potential future clients. We feel extremely lucky to have found a gem of company from a needle in a haystack internet search!

Rob the owner helped and guided us from the very start of the project and proved to have a wealth of knowledge on the different kitchen manufacturers available in our price range. It has to be said we would have been lost without him and could have ended up with a very expensive mistake!

read moreRob understood our requirements perfectly during the initial consultation. He was methodical and fastidious in the finish which he managed to achieve, using a high-tech wallpaper which was difficult to manipulate. His attention to detail involved making sure that all the edges were cut using a fresh scalpel, the finish around the fireplace was seamless, and the end result was a real testimony to his skill and professionalism.
Though the job took much longer than he had anticipated the agreed price was respected, and he even managed to fit in some additional decorating work whilst the paste was drying! At all times he was not afraid to ask questions and did not take offence when questions were asked of him. Even when it looked as if we would be short of a few lengths, Rob managed to complete the job and leave us with material left over.
This was the first time this wallcovering has been used in the UK and the compliments we receive when visitors come to the house are amazing. Rob did us proud and we would not hesitate to recommend his services to others.
