Communications Strategy
read moreEvery plan is built on a strategy, every idea is backed by a rationale. Tactics can include anything from a website redesign or social media campaign to a media relations campaign, guerrilla marketing or direct marketing project.

Coming up with Ideas
read moreI work as a creative consultant direct for clients as well as for a number of PR agencies who call me in as a fresh pair of eyes when theyre either pitching for business or undergoing a re-pitch process.

Ive written a Guide to successful brainstorming which is now used by three PR companies and a branding agency. I recently advised creative hot shop Freud Communications on ways in which to improve their creative processes.

My photography taken in Auschwitz-Birkenau has featured in an exhibition at the Art of Propaganda Gallery, as well as being published on the cover of 'A Little Piece for Mother' by Barbara Towell, and in 'A Guide to Great Photography' by Peter Bargh. I have designed websites for the Digital Entertainment Group Europe, Lindt Chocolate, Fruitcake Films, JAPAN Films, concert pianist Reiko Fujisawa and The Allegri String Quartet.

Digital Public Relations / Online PR
read moreYour brand is no longer represented only on your website, coupled with that, its constantly changing, being reflected in blog posts to Facebook comments, to customer reviews, and forums and microblogging.

I can help with your website, microsites (for competitions, giveaways, promotions, campaigns or websites set up to address a specific issue facing your company). It also includes your company blog, partnership marketing, viral campaigns and the content you post on your social media channels.

Website Design and Wordpress Consultancy
read moreI offer cost-effective website design and build, from e-commerce websites to campaign microsites to company or campaign blogs, I can build sites so that theyre easily updated as and when needed.

Having designed websites since 2003, I can also help you with SEO to help your website listings on all major search engines.

Guerrilla Marketing
read moreWhat would have been considered daring and adventurous marketing a couple of years ago now seems slightly pass, now that every Tom, Dick and Harry is trying to jump on the guerrilla bandwagon.

Which makes me happy that Ive worked in house with the acknowledged masters of stunt, Cunning many times over the years. Youll probably remember their projection of Gail Porter on the side of the House of Commons.

I have carried out high profile guerrilla campaigns for Nikon, Peugeot, FHM, and provided strategy and evaluation for MINI UK (BMW).

I believe guerrilla marketing is like comedy if something seems not quite right, it makes the whole thing completely wrong. Which is probably why so many companies attempt it but dont succeed.

For me, the point of guerrilla marketing is to make an impact on media-savvy, cynical bright young things who usually have a distinct sense of humour. It has be different and designed so that people actually enjoy the fact that theyre being marketed to.

Many brands are not suitable to be promoted by guerrilla marketing. And for some big corporates keen to play it safe, the original idea becomes so diluted that its so far from the original concept that its safest not to do it.

Effective guerrilla tactics need to be well thought out. Dont risk mimicking anything that has been done before, and dont leave it in the hands of non-specialists. Do it badly and you lose an audience, your brand loses credibility.

Event Management
read moreThe impact might come from sending out a gang of Harley Davidsons to deliver the potential client management team to a remote pitch location.

Or hiring a church and employing an actor to play the part of a fervent preacher delivering a pitch in the form of a sermon. Perhaps flying 46 journalists to Iceland to sample camera quality by taking pictures of a catwalk show staged on a glacier. All of which Ive had great fun doing.

From press briefings and product launches to conferences and press trips, I can help you plan and organise events on any scale.
